Analyzing Vehicle Damage and Air Bag Control Module Data to Combat Fraudulent Claims

This course will address how physical damage sustained by a motor vehicle and air bag control module data can be used to identify potentially fraudulent claims.

Background / history of air bags and how they work or do not work will be addressed. What potential data can be obtained from an air bag control module and how it can be used to address claim concerns.

What information can be obtained from analyzing physical damage (several case studies will be presented) sustained by a vehicle and do those damages match the reported loss scenario.

Questions will be addressed during and after the presentation.
