		SC CPCU Chapter Earns Gold Level in Circle of Excellence for 2011! The CPCU Society South Carolina Chapter recently qualified for the Gold level of the Society’s 2010–2011 Circle of Excellence Recognition Program. The program recognizes chapters for their efforts to achieve specific benchmarks in chapter performance. CPCU Society chapters become part of the “Circle of Excellence” by completing activities that support the Society’s strategic plan, further chapter goals and help to ensure members’ success. The South Carolina Chapter will be recognized at the Society’s Annual Meeting and Seminars in Las Vegas, Nevada in a special Circle of Excellence display in the registration area and during the Circle of Excellence Recognition Luncheon October 22-25, 2011. Qualifications for Membership * CPCU student must have passed at least 4 CPCU exams * CPCU student must be considered “active” by the American Institute for CPCU (AICPCU) (Active is defined by the AICPCU as a student who has had some contact with the AICPCU over the past year, whether it be to request information over the phone, or taking an exam.) * Pay half the CPCU Society's dues annually of $70 and respective half chapter dues. * Comply with the CPCU Society Code of Ethics.
